Historically, holidays are a slower time for Realtors however we are planning to have all of our homes ready to show & sell.

One area in particular that is ready with plenty of inventory is Holiday Park. One of St. Petersburg’s most desired areas is Holiday Park neighborhood due to its reasonably priced homes with many of these homes not requiring flood insurance. Not only is this area surrounded by a very close family of neighbors. This community offers tons of events throughout the year to include holiday events, block parties, Fall festival, and scheduled picnics. This area was developed by Frank Strumm who also built most of the homes in this area. There are two phases in this area with majority of the homes being ranch style 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms and two car garages. There is only a voluntary neighborhood association that at one time required all homes to have concrete tile roofs.  That restriction has been lifted and homeowners are able to replace with any style roof material they choose. This area has so much character to include quiet cul-de-sacs and curving streets. Homeowners keep their landscaping manicured and offer an award to them called the “Holiday Park Beatification Award” where the association places a sign in the winner’s yard displaying their achievement. They have a very active voluntary association which shows in the consistency of the area. Recently, the association was gifted money from the neighborhood partnership grant program and they added a large palm tree entry with installation of a concrete sign displaying the Holiday Park name. If you would like to see a home in this area this Thanksgiving break please call today so we can prepare for your own personal preview of this wonderful area that has so much to offer.
